System Requirements

What are the system requirements for the use of vtiger CRM?

• vtiger CRM can be installed under Windows or Linux / Unix and MAC OSX, thus internal as well as external projects can be implemented with vtiger CRM.
• A LAMP-, MAMP- or WAMP-Package with integrated Apache and MySQL are required for the installation. The Microsoft® IIS can of course also be used for internet publishing.
• MySQL databases are supported by standard. If needed, vtiger can also be ported to other databases, such as Oracle.
• Installation is possible on all standard distributions: Suse, RedHat, Debian, Mandrake, Fedora, Ubuntu (Client/Server). The Windows installation requires either Windows 2000 / 2003 / XP / Vista / 7. Windows 95/98/ME are not supported.
• The Outlook® plug-in requires Microsoft Outlook® 2000 / 2003 / 2007.
